Blue Skies, Sadly Empty Skies

.

An unsuccessful trip to look for any Goshawk displaying around the moors gave us the opportunity to see some fab morning views under a gorgeous blue sky.

It was disappointing not to see the birds, but I made up for it by spotting a pair of Goosander flying up the Teign just outside Chudleigh - the first time I have spotted them here, having only ever had Devon sightings on the Dart, Exe and up at Hennock Reservoirs. What made this sigthing exciting was that I might be able to see them flying from my bedroom window - will have to keep my eyes peeled!
