Shaptor Woods and Shaptor Rock

Today we took Mum out for an early Mother's Day walk at one of her favourite places: Shaptor Woods just north of Bovey Tracey. We walked up through the woods, through the fields of bluebells just beginning to reach up above the leaf litter - I'm sure it'll look amazing in a few weeks! We climbed up onto Shaptor Rock where we had a 180 degree vista from Hennock in the north to Heathfield in the south, over to the moors from Haytor across to Trendlebere Down. Fabulous.
