Transforming old jewellery...into new jewellery!

I've just spent the morning doing some fiddly work, turning an old broken brooch into a necklace! Looks a bit rough close-up...but from a distance you'd never know!

It used to live on my coat until the pin broke...then the wings fell off...but for some reason I kept the darn thing! Glad I did. With some delicate ribbon work and a few blobs of super glue (in fact, quite a lot of super glue - still picking bits of it off my fingers, not pleasant) it is complete and I shall be wearing it today. Once it is dry of course, I don't want the thing becoming a permanent feature of my neck...
