I have spent the day helping out a friend with her self-organised clothes swap at the Angel Bar in Exeter. Come with your unwanted clothes and leave with other people's unwanted clothes, you get the general idea. I was sat by the door taking donations and selling raffle tickets. There were some great donated prizes; choccies, free yoga lessons, an organic veggie box, that sort of stuff. We made £85 with the raffle, all of which is going to Women's Aid to celebrate International Women's Day tomorrow. There was plenty of silliness and some great music from the open mic.
What a great afternoon with some great people, great fish, and well trained dogs.
